Your wall encloses a three-point eye space in a straight row — the shape Go players call a straight three (直三). Three empty points are one big eye, not two, so the group is not yet alive. Exactly one point inside turns the space into two separate eyes, and a group with two real eyes can never be captured. But the same point in White's hands is your death — the next lesson is this very board played from the other side.
