The tiger's mouth
A 'tiger's mouth' (虎口, keima) is a shape where two of your stones are one diagonal apart with an empty point between — they look disconnected but aren't: if the opponent tries to cut by playing that point, you immediately capture it (it's a self-atari for them). The tiger's mouth connects while keeping shape light, and is one of the most common good shapes in Go.
