Shoulder-hit the rim
White's three spaced stones roof over the whole top — a framework too big to leave alone. But it is too orderly to invade as well: a stone placed deep gets chased by three stones at once and finds no base. So reduce instead: the shoulder-hit on the rim. A diagonal touch against a framework stone on its outward shoulder — never a head-on contact — leaves you light, with escape routes on both sides. Push the roof down a line or two and the moyo shrinks; you can always invade later, once it is thinner.
